Our membership options—are designed to meet you where you are. For those looking to learn or grow, we offer a limited number of classes, taught in a supportive and encouraging environment. To foster community and collaboration, based on member suggestions, we regularly host “Clay Connections” to explore trends and techniques together.
Members and class participants enjoy access to curated clay bodies and studio glazes selected for consistent, high-quality results. The studio is fully equipped with professional hand-building and wheel-throwing tools, Brent pottery wheels, and L&L electric kilns to support work at every stage of the ceramic process.
Our space also features spacious community worktables, a slab roller, and extruders for expanded forming options. Members benefit from a collaborative studio environment with guidance and support from The Smith staff, creating a welcoming space for both creative exploration and skill development.

Daytime (8:00am-3:00pm, 7 days a week) – Ideal for flexible schedules and daytime makers
Evening (4:00pm-11:00pm, 7 days a week) - Perfect for after-work creativity
Anytime (24hrs a day, 7 days a week) – For artist who work on their own schedule
Classes
Whether you're curious about clay or ready to refine your skills, our classes at The Smith are designed to support every stage of your ceramics journey. We offer beginner and all-levels classes in a relaxed, hands-on environment, with instruction focused on wheel throwing and surface techniques. Classes are held throughout the week—including evenings and weekends—to fit a variety of schedules. Taught by experienced instructors, each class is an opportunity to learn, experiment, and connect with others who love working with clay. Not a member? No problem—our classes are open to both members and non-members, with class packs available for added flexibility.
Clay Connections
Clay Connections is our monthly member gathering to socialize, share ideas, and learn new techniques together in a relaxed studio setting. Topics are member-driven, often inspired by current trends or processes members are exploring, making each session a chance to connect and grow within the studio community.
Workshops
Our seasonal workshops are a chance to dive deeper, explore new techniques, and get inspired alongside fellow makers. Open to both members and non-members, each workshop is thoughtfully curated and led by experienced instructors or guest artists.
